A letter from the PNWMA Executive:
We would like to acknowledge our late response in communicating to you the issues relating to the Big Kahuna.
We’d like to start by apologizing for the delayed start at the Big Kahuna, in the future sign up for the Big Kahuna will begin the night before the race as well as the morning of the race, check the poster for details.
Due to a power failure and power surge some electronic score keeping equipment was damaged. As a result of the damage, the race data was rendered incomplete. The problem with the equipment has been isolated and rectified.
Fortunately we always perform manual back up, so results are now posted. Please send protests / grievances to dirtchick@telus.net they will be heard till May 10 and the official results will be posted May 15.
