THE FULL THROTTLE Hare Scramble July 5,2015

BCORCS(I) Round # 5 – VERNON, BC

Sunday July 5, 2015

Round 5 of the PNWMA BCORCS Interior Series marks the return of THE FULL THROTTLE Hare Scramblehosted by the Vernon Off-Road Motorcycle Club.  Previously one of the highlight venues of the OHSS Series from 2007 through 2012, this marks the first time this event has been part of the PNWMA Series.  The VOMC is excited to be back and has an ambitious crew known for hosting top notch events such the 2012 WEC - Canadian Enduro Championship.

Located within beautiful Noble Canyon, overlooking Vernon and area Lakes and Valleys, this side of the mountain offers as an excellent course with lots of variety.  Expect a 22km A loop and a 14km B loop with nothing too extreme, but still challenging enough for all.  As always, you will want to save some energy for the spectator friendly “optional” Enduro X Section at the end of each loop.

Despite an unseasonably warm and dry spring, current conditions are perfect and the frequent June Rains typically leave the conditions perfect through to early July, but the heat could definitely add to the challenge.  If you can look up for more than 5 seconds, the fantastic views will definitely have you primed for a dip in the pristine waters of Kalamalka Lake on your way home, or come for an extended weekend and enjoy all of the wonderful North Okanagan.
